Crack It Crackle Finish

• A water based crackle medium that is sandwiched between two coats of latex paint
• Using Crack It results in the top layer of paint cracking, creating a distressed or weathered effect
• Creates an antique weathered finish or aged cracked paint
• Perfect for trim, mouldings and walls
• Safe and easy to use
• Non-toxic and water-based
• Clean up with soap and water
• Cracks almost any latex paint DIRECTIONS:
• Paint base colour of your choice using a satin latex paint
• Let dry completely
• NOTE: the base colour will be the colour of the cracks showing through
• Apply an even coat of Crack It medium to the entire surface using a foam roller
• Let dry 1-2 hours
• Apply top colour of satin latex paint using a brush, being careful not to over stroke the surface
• Missed areas can be touched up immediately
• NOTE: the thickness of the application will determine the size of the cracks
• Seal (optional) with a latex sealer or varnish once surface is completely dry DRYING TIME:
• 8-12 hours CLEAN UP:

• 75 to 125 sq. ft. per litre
